Here is the latest Music video by Beethova Obas and Emmanuel Obas titled LAVI

Beethova Obas (born 1964) is a Haitian musician. His father was a painter and music lover who named him after famous composer and pianist Ludwig van Beethoven. When Beethova was only 4 years old, his father disappeared after participating in a protest against the murders committed by Haitian dictator François Duvalier's dictatorial regime; he was outraged by the execution of his cousin on the orders of Duvalier. Beethova never saw him again in his life. Later in his life, he learned to play guitar and accordion and became a self made musician. His debut album "Nwel Anme" (Bitter Christmas) was released with Ti Manno. The creation of Beethova has great influences from French chanson, Brazilian bossa nova, and jazz; his music is the symbol of sweetness and serenity. Beethova won his first music award as "The Best Young Singer" from Découverte Radio France Internationale contest, 1988. In 1988, he also won the "American Airlines" contest, and the song "Lagé-l" was interpreted by his brother Emmanuel Obas. In the 1999, with the song "Nèg Kongo", he forms a sublime duet with his brother Emmanuel. After the 2010 earthquake, on 24 January 2010, Beethova Obas and his brother Emmanuel became guest stars on Jamel Debouzze's stage at the Bataclan theatre in Paris to raise funds for Haiti. Again, these two brothers were united on 27 March 2010, in Brussels in a private concert to raise fund for the IFF association (Investment for the Future).
