T-Vice, Haiti Music Video. Read the following articles about T-Vice

Olivier Duret and His Music

Oliver Duret who was a T-Vice crooner for six years left T-Vice in October 2011 because he thought he would be more productive as a solo singer with his versatile capacity. The reason for his leaving T-Vice was just this, nothing more than that--there were no personal disrespect or any issues with song credits or monetary matters. While rejecting all rumors, he had said that "T-Vice is strictly a Compas band but I'm more versatile." T-Vice never made any official statement on his resignation. But on Facebook, their lead singer Roberto Marino did confirm that 'Oliver has made it clear in his statement that he wants to go solo.'

T-Vice, met beton-an

T-Vice is a Miami based Haitian Compas music band formed in 1991 by brothers Roberto and Reynaldo Martino when they were only 16 and 13 years respectively. T-Vice is famous for their energetic vibes and catchy lyrics. Roberto and Reynaldo are the sons of legendary Haitian guitarist Robert Martino of the classic Top Vice band, the predecessor of T-Vice. Their long time friends James Cardozo (Singer/vocals, Keytar) and Gerald Kebreau (Bass guitarist) soon joined them to form the group as a quartet. Although the Martino brothers were nurtured under the inspiration and musical influence of their legendary father, they always maintained the idea of creating a band of their own. Their group was further expanded in 2005 when four other performers Eddy Viau (Percussionist), Rivenson Louissaint (Drummer), Olivier Duret (co-singer) and Ricot Amazan (congas player) joined their group.

Under the theme "Pote Kole pou n avanse", the 2014 edition of the Jacmel Carnival will take place on Sunday, February 23. The festivity, expected to be steeped in the rich culture of the country, will be an outdoor, day-long event that will have spectators thrilling to the sounds, smells, and sights that only Haiti can offer.

As said by the South-East's Office of Tourism consultant, Michaelle Craan, the festival will show Haiti's particular heritage, passed down from folklore through decades' worth of oral tradition. Djakout 1, T-Vice, Carimi not in Labor Day West Indian Parade, Eastern Parkway

The West Indian Carnival, known as the Labor Day Parade, which is held in Crown Heights, Brooklyn every year, is a fun-filled, well-highlighted stage showcasing the wealth of musical genres, interesting sounds and pure talent from Caribbean and South American bands. Each year, dozens of musical acts flock to the carnival that attracts millions and, this year, Haiti's presence was resoundingly hollow, an eventuality, which was foreshadowed after last year's already emaciated Haitian showing.

The festival goers go every year primed to see diverse musical styles coming out of different countries and, since the popularity of the festival has grown so tremendously from its beginnings as a gathering of Caribbean artists, organized by the committee started by Mrs. Jessie Waddell Compton and housed in various enclosed spaces including the Savoy, the lack of any Haitian acts promoting Konpa and other popular forms of Haitian music is a lack the country's music industry can ill afford.
