Jude Jean, the unforgettable singer of K-Dans

Jude Jean is the quintessential prince of music who earned himself the reputation of a singer who has mastered the skill of missing the train to fame-boulevard! Yes, that is true! Despite his filtered and imposing voice, this tall, charming and handsome and extremely talented signer never had an upward rising success trajectory. Jude Jean made his first appearance in 2000 in a group called K-Dans.

The group is now defunct but it was the debut platform for Jude along with Carlo Vieux and Richard Cave who later moved to New York and formed CaRiMi. After Carlo and Richard left K-Dans, Jude Jean became the lead singer and K-Dans released a few albums with music that were unmistakably sweet. However, these albums did not really enter the hall of fame but they definitely gave Jude an international recognition.

Jude Jean in Vodeo

Towards the end of 2005, as per rumors, K-Dans got rid of Jude because he was dark and because it was tradition of K-Dans that they always used lead singers with fairer complexion. It was nothing but a petit bourgeois from the wealthy suburban of Petion Ville. In 2006 however, Jude Jean stole the moments of a beautiful night in August at a nightclub called 'Cabanne Choucoune'. That unforgettable night, Jude debuted his own band by the name 'Chill'. The room was reported to have been jam-packed by well-wishers, die-hard fans and musicians.

Jude Jean - Bonita

Jude Jean worked with Chill on several projects and in 2006 he created some unforgettable songs like Aprann and Bonita. The album featured some great musicians like Nickenson Prud'Homme and Fabrice Rouzier. Unfortunately, the album did not give him much needed headway and the artist, the quintessential prince suddenly dropped out.
